What is Nennius?

Nennius is an advanced, object-oriented application engine written in PHP. With its current release Nennius offers the ability to run multiple, concurrent web applications off of a single Nennius engine. Each web application is fully customizable amd can easily be modified to fit almost any existing business model.

Database Support?

Although future releases of Nennius will offer support for databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, the current recommended version only guarantees support for MySQL.

How much does it cost?

Nennius is free to use, modify, and re-distribute under the terms specified in the Apache License.
News and Updates

A two-part article entitled "Basic Application Develoment for Nennius" has been recently submitted to Dev Shed. This article is written in tutorial form, and includes sample code snippets. Part 1 covers everything a developer should do when creating a Nennius web application from scratch, and Part 2 takes a more in-depth look at some of the advanced features offered by the Nennius engine.
